i would like to welcome you to our new website!
The company Kerzen Zimmermann is one which is built upon tradition. Since 1879 we sell churchcandels and a variety of other products based around the needs of the church. Our main customers are churches and monasteries in Bavaria. With many of these parishes we have built a rapport which has lasted for centuries.
Our assortment consists of nearly 4000 different products. Our focus area however, lies within our regular-, altar-, easter-, apostel-, advent-, wedding- and Eternal candles. (and much more)
Furthermore, our assortment includes incense, hosts, communion wine, flambeau and more.
Our website offers approximately 2000 of these products.
As our customer you are privileged to services offered, such as:
  • votive candle tables free of cost
  • acceptance of waxdrippings returned to us (donated to special-needs-facilities)
  • free of charge home delivery (starting at 80€)
  • fast home delivery
  • in person counceling via field worker/reprensentative

1879 founding of the firm by Mr. Karl Zimmermann
1899 Mr. Karl Zimmermann dies - his son Franz Zimmermann obtains ownership and continues the business
1934 because of old age, Franz Zimmermann entrusts the firm to Mr. Max Schloss
1951 Mr. Max Schloss dies unexpectedly - his wife Maria Schloss continues the buisness
1979 in old age, Mrs. Maria Schloss entrusts the firm to trustworthy, longtime employee and surrogate Mr. Heribert Hartl
1994 Mr. Heribert Hartl entrusts the company to his daughter Gabriele Hartl-Schlachtberger who continued buisness with her husband Johannes Schlachtberger
1994 the company gets moved from the small location inside the old town of Amberg to a bigger one in the industrial area south of the city
2001 launching of an online-shop for candels and churchsupplies
2004 Mrs. Gabriele Hartl-Schlachtberger dies unexpectedly - her husband Johannes Schlachtberger continues the buisness
2009 company building expansion to 1000m²
2010 expansion of shop - and showroom area
