Prevent the "running" of the candles. Also for communion candles. Established since years!
So it works:
Place the ring on the candle and light the candle. After 1-2 hours of burning, move the glass-ring downwards by hand,
until the upper edge of the ring is equal with the liquid wax. BE CAREFUL OF THE HOT WAX!!!.
Due to this the "running" of the liquid wax will be prevented.
